Restorative Justice

Restorative Justice is a nonpunative approach to repairing wrongdoing. Students resolve conflicts in a safe, respectful, and responsible setting.  Aragon Avenue proudly and eagerly joins other LAUSD schools in implementing this model that takes a shift from punishment, exclusion, and suspension to one that holds students accountable for their actions while keeping them included in the school community. Students take part in "restorative circles" designed to help students learn problem-solving skills and develop empathy for others.
