Message from Principal Vela

Bienvenidos! I am thrilled to welcome you back after a well deserved break!

I am honored and privileged to work alongside you and our continued collaboration will produce great student success as we reap the benefits of our tremendous work last year.

We are Aragon!

I am also excited to introduce three new members to our team: Anthony Williams, APEIS, Yadi Hernandez, Primary Promise Teacher, & Genessee Quizon, Intervention Coordinator. Please give them an Eagle Welcome as you meet them this year.

Over the summer I spent time reflecting on the following quote by Elena Aguilar:

“Our purpose is to create a world characterized by justice, equity, and liberation. The journey is the destination. We can fulfill our purpose when we act with compassion, curiosity, connection, and courage.”

The promise of education is justice, equity, and liberation and I know that is the journey and destination we Aragon Eagles endeavor upon. I hope you will join me in committing to act with compassion, curiosity, connection and courage this school year as we continually demand excellence from ourselves, each other, and our students.

In this spirit we welcome all of you back to our Aragon home!

We are open for Enrollment! If you have not yet enrolled your child please come by the office. It is open M-F 8:00-4:30 pm for new enrollments.
